Hi, I'm Anne,
a product designer focused on systems and taste.

Based in Orange County, California, I love creating designs that are simple, reliable, and thoughtful. Most of my work lives in the Internet of Things, where individual products come together as connected ecosystems that communicate seamlessly and tell a cohesive product story.

I don’t think form and function need to be at odds with each other. In fact, I believe good form actively supports good function. Something doesn't have to be visually uninspiring just because it works well. After visiting the Eames House in Palisades, CA, I’ve really appreciated finding that balance where clear aesthetic design enhances how a product actually feels to use. Ultimately, I care about making things easy to understand: removing friction, cutting out unnecessary noise, and letting the user focus on what they need to do.

Outside of work, I’m usually logging 20k+ steps at conventions, going to concerts, playing mahjong or video games, or trying out cool new restaurants.

The values
behind my work

Courage

I take initiative, explore new ideas, and make decisions even when the path isn’t clear.

Honesty

I communicate openly, give feedback, and focus on what truly matters for the outcome.

Adaptability

I stay flexible, learn quickly, and adjust to challenges without losing direction or focus.

Teamwork

I love collaborating, ownership, and believe the best results come from teamwork.

The method
behind my work

Strategy

I take initiative to research the product and strategize my design goals. I believe when time isn't made for research, then time will be demanded for rework.

Alignment

I progress with intention and with the backing of my team. My team will always know why I made a design change, not just what I did.

AI-Assisted

I leverage AI tools for rapid ideation and iteration, freeing up more time to apply critical thinking, user empathy, and design taste to the product.

Test

I validate designs through experimentation, testing, and ongoing iteration. I change direction if the data advocates for it.
